Wisdom from Proverbs

When I was a teenager, I lived in Portland, Oregon with my family and attended Bible Temple Church, now City Bible. My youth pastor at the time was Wendell Smith. Wendell had a huge impact on my life as a young person trying to discover God and my own purpose in life. Wendell encouraged all of us as young people to read a Proverb a day based on the date of the month. 100th Anniversary of World War 1

The first week of August 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War I and the formal commencement of the Anzac Centenary. The war was one of the most destructive events in history, with almost all the countries of the world involved and affected. Halftime - Mid Year Review
