Linsanity has hit New York. What's it about - the surprising rise of New York's professional basketball team's point guard, Jeremy Lin. Over the last month, he has led his team to some unexpected victories, putting in some unbelievable performances on the court.
Lin is Asian and there aren't many Asians in professional sport in America, a world dominated by Afro-Americans. He's a graduate from Harvard, which doesn't produce a lot of athletes. He was undrafted and has been cut from a number of teams before landing in New York. He's also a committed Christian who hopes to be a pastor one day.
it's a great story.
Of course, there's no such thing as an "overnight success." No doubt, Lin has been developing his skills out of the limelight. Now suddenly he's in it - and he's shining.
Go Jeremy!

Wish he was playing for the Boston Celtics!
