Despite living within shouting distance of Knox, serving at Casey on the setup/packup crew has been one of the biggest blessings in my life over the last 18 months or so.

At first I thought that the buzz was due to all of the frantic activity we're involved in starting at 7am to get everything rolled out in time, but I figured that it's something more. There's a certain buzz in the air at Casey that I don't feel at Knox (not to say that Knox doesn't have a buzz - it's a different buzz!). Sure the hall is echoey, drafty, cold in winter, hot in summer and needs to be set up each week, but the excitement of starting small and reaching out to a new area excites me.

The view from the sound desk has also allowed me to see it progressively grow. Month by month, more rows of seats being added... and how big is that parents-with-prams area!

It's an awesome experience being involved in the Casey multi-site.

HG.

Hi HG - glad you're enjoying Casey. I like the buzz there too and the fact that people are taking ownership of this initiative. I think the future is bright! Mark
